Domain Registration – Add Protected Registration to My Domains

    1. Select the domain name you want to use.
    2. Click on the Upgrade icon in the menu above your list of domains:

    1. Under Upgrades, click the Registration tab:

  1. Next to Privacy and Business Protection, click Add.
  2. Click Checkout, and continue through the checkout process.

These services are not available for all domain names. If we offer these services for your domain name’s extension, the service displays and you can use these instructions to select it.

You can add Deluxe or Protected Registration to the domain names in your account.

Before you purchase Deluxe or Protected Registration, ensure that the registrant contact for your domain name has a valid email address in the Whois database. You must have access to the registrant email address to make future changes to your domain name or Protected Registration service.

  • Log in to your LuckyRegister – Cheap Domain Registration, Domain Hosting Services – account.
  • Next to Domains, click Manage.

How you add Deluxe or Private Registration to your domain will depend on the view of your account.

Card View

In Card View, your account will look something like this:

    1. Select the domain name you want to use, click Text Icon (Settings) and select Domain Settings.
    2. Under Additional Settings, click the Protect My Domain button:

  1. Click Checkout, and then continue through the checkout process.

List View

In List View, your account will look something like this:

    1. Select the domain name you want to use.
    2. Click on the Upgrade icon in the menu above your list of domains:

    1. Under Upgrades, click the Registration tab:

  1. Choose from the following options:
    • Protection – Protected Registration includes Domain Ownership Protection, Private Registration, and Business Registration, which keeps your domain name locked and secured, keeps your personal information private, and lists your business information in the Whois database.
    • Deluxe – Deluxe Registration includes DBP private registration and Business Registration, which keeps your personal information private and lists your business information in the Whois database.
  2. Click Add, then click Checkout and continue through the checkout process.
